GET PAST THE PIXELS!

Adobe Photoshop is the industry's premier choice for digital image editing that professional graphic artists rely on. If you've never tried Photoshop before or if you're a seasoned artist, this course will have you creating and editing images like a true professional.

Photoshop is not difficult to learn, however, the many options available can make it overwhelming for the beginner. Thus, our classes are purposefully kept small to allow for individualized instruction. The class begins with a broad overview of Photoshop's user interface, including locating and learning to use important tools, palettes and useful Photoshop features. Students will then learn specific commands and techniques to enhance and color correct digital files, and to crop, resize, sharpen and create digital prints, (both black & white and color). You'll also learn how to correct image flaws including scratches, faded areas and red eye.

Whether you are outputting to print, video or web, Photoshop offers the tools you need for professional looking photographic images, composites, backgrounds, textures, text and special effects. This course is recommended as an introduction to digital image editing for graphic designers, editors, motion graphics artists, or for individuals who simply want to create professional looking images for personal use.
