STANDING SETS
The campus has been remodeled. A key element of the remodel was the creation of scenically designed lounge and study areas which also double as sets for student productions. These include a Boston brownstone and a roadhouse pool hall. Vignettes evoking Little Shanghai, Little Havana, a taste of Bourbon Street, and a Venice boardwalk-style cafe are still in the planning stages.

The 5,000 square foot facility houses over 10,000 volumes, periodicals, videocassettes, DVDs, and scripts. The computer lab has 15 stations with high-speed internet access and is open during campus hours. A private DVD screening room is open during library hours. Wireless internet access is also available campus-wide. The library hours are weekdays, 11:00 am to 9:30 pm and Saturdays, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A collection of actors’ headshots is available for use in casting. All services are free of charge.

PARKING
There is on-campus parking for students and staff. Street parking and other nearby lots are also available.

Columbia College Hollywood has had a number of locations in the almost 51 years of its existence, from MacArthur Park in downtown LA (1952-70) to La Brea Avenue in the heart of Hollywood (1970-97) to the former Panavision building in Tarzana (1997-present). The Tarzana campus is located near many production and post production facilities. It is also convenient to Universal City, Studio City and Burbank, where major studios such as Disney, MCA, Warner Brothers and Universal Studios are headquartered.
