The Student Government Association is of service to the College by organizing and sponsoring student events, by advocating for the needs of the students, and by welcoming new students, among other activities.
A President and Vice President are elected each Spring in a vote by all enrolled students to head the SGA. In addition, there is also the yearly election for the student representative to the Honor Committee. Beginning with the 2010-11 academic year there will be a Student Council consisting of students from each of the academic emphases.
The SGA works under the College’s Associate Director of Academic Affairs.
