Photography is one of the key artistic bases for cinema, so it is not surprising that many CCH students are accomplished still photographers, whether through course work or on their own.

| Frozen motion. Use of a fast shutter speed to freeze a moment in time that would be impossible to isolate with the human eye. | Depict motion and Painting with Light. Shutter is left open in a dark environment with a single light source “painting” the subject with light. |
