Joan McMurtrey’s vast professional experience includes starring roles in more than 100 television productions, most recently CSI, Grey’s Anatomy, PSYCH, Law and Order: LA and The Young and the Restless. She was featured opposite Gene Hackman in Class Action and co-starred with Jeff Daniels in Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael. On Broadway, Ms. McMurtrey performed the title role in Brian Friel’s groundbreaking production Molly Sweeney, directed by the author himself. Additionally, she has performed in countless national tours and regional productions, including leading roles at The Mark Taper Forum, Hartford Stage Company, American Conservatory Theatre, and Manhattan Theatre Club.
