Perivi Katjavivi (2008) has made his feature film directorial debut with The Unseen. Filmed in his native Namibia, Perivi's film held its North American premiere at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles. The film stars South Africa-based actor Antonio David Lyons (American History X, Hotel Rwanda), a former acting professor of Perivi's at Columbia College Hollywood. Lucas Cuny (2002) is currently producing a documentary about the city of San Bernardino related to the events December 2nd as well as the regions socioeconomic issues In addition, Lucas' non-profit has submitted a grant for funding through the California Humanities project and will be launching a fundraising campaign on the Fundanything.com website by the end of February.
Richard Tanne's (2009) Southside With You has been unveiled as one of the Sundance Institute's films that will premiere as part of the U.S. Competition, World Competition and out-of-competition NEXT categories. As both Director and Screenwriter, Richard Tanne's Southside With You is a chronicle of the summer afternoon in 1989 when the future president of the United States of America, Barack Obama, wooed his future First Lady on an epic first date across Chicago's South Side. Carmine Scialfo (1998) is currently a producer for “Extra” where he is the only full-time segment producer for a national show based in Las Vegas. He won a Daytime Emmy for his work on “Extra” and he has been with Warner Bros. TV on various shows for 15 consecutive years.
Avril Ilejay's (2010) film American Sweetheart which stands as one of the most awarded films ever created by CCH students, was featured on the final episode of KCET's “Fine Cut.” As an annually-held festival honoring students from renowned film schools across California, "Fine Cut" has featured CCH entries ever since the first episode was aired over 15 years ago. Avril now works as an Associate Producer at NBC Universal, Inc.
Tay Hawes (2009) is currently one of the producers of Revolt TV Live, a music channel owned by Diddy which shoots two live shows every Monday and Wednesday at 12pm and 4pm. Josh Raymond (2008) recently won a Silver Award for the Criminal Minds' spec script "Sins of the Mother" with the Hollywood Screenplay Contest and was just accepted into the TV Academy as a member. Josh is currently working on the reality TV show "Ex Isle" for WE as a post-production producer.
Nathan Cheney (2010) and Sadie Dean (2009) are currently financing their feature documentary A Fatherless Generation featuring Anthony Anderson (black-ish), Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Billy Bush (Access Hollywood), Aisha Tyler (Archer/The Talk), Bret Ernst (Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Tour), and Aimee Garcia (Dexter/The George Lopez Show).They are currently fundraising for finishing production funds through IndieGoGo and offering perks from Fandango, The Voice tickets, Universal Studio Theme Park Tickets and more to their contributors. Last year, Mike Gamms (2010) performed standup comedy in 15 different states across the US, including regular stints at The Laugh Factory in Chicago and Carolines in New York City. He also served as a Set P.A. on Zoolander 2 as well as Jim Jarmusch's new film Patterson. Mike misses CCH instructor Seth Winston on a daily basis, but tries to remember his advice and encouragement whenever things seem tough.

Brent Morin (2008) serves up infectious laughs in a new, witty solo show “I’m Brent Morin” on the agony of puberty, hot guy problems and the time a girl dumped him for a magician. Brent received his Honorary Doctorate from Columbia College Hollywood in 2014.
