Student Housing

Columbia College Hollywood provides assistance to new and continuing students who need local housing accommodations.

CCH has arranged for two properties to provide student housing – Meridian Pointe and Oakwood.  Students should also note that CCH does not own, operate or control any housing properties which students may be referred to or that students may lease, and these properties are “non-campus” properties for purposes of Clery Act reporting.

To assist students with paying housing fees, CCH provides short-term credit to students to support any required payments of rent at housing properties prior to the receipt of student financial aid funding.   Funds advanced by CCH to students will be charged against the student’s account and  be documented by a housing advance agreement between CCH and the student.

Students who desire to stay at a CCH referral properties should begin by submitting a housing request form along with a $50.00 non-refundable processing fee.  Once your housing request form is received, the CCH Housing office will contact you to discuss your specific needs and current property availability.   If you wish to tour a specific property, the CCH housing coordinator will arrange for an on-site property tour.   Because the housing request fee is non-refundable, we recommend that students submit the housing request form only after they have been accepted for admission.  There are a limited number of rooms available at each housing community and all rooms are fully furnished.  If the student has signed a CCH housing advance agreement, all housing charges are billed to your CCH student account and housing charges are paid by CCH on your behalf.

Oakwood is a residential housing community located 5 miles from CCH and in close proximity to multiple business centers, a wide variety of shopping choices, and an abundance of dining options.  Amenities include a business center, fitness center, swimming pool and spa. Shuttle service to the CCH campus before and after class is provided free of charge.  Oakwood does not require a separate leasing application and students are not required to pay an upfront security deposit.

Meridian Pointe is located across the street from the campus of California State University Northridge (CSUN), a university community of nearly 34,000 students on a 356-acre campus located 5 miles from CCH.  Amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool with jacuzzi, study rooms, game room and screening room.  Shuttle service to the CCH campus before and after class is provided free of charge. Students applying to Meridian Pointe are required to complete a separate Meridian Pointe Leasing Application.  Meridian Pointe also requires a security deposit ranging from $65.00 to $250.00 per student.
